Give Allergies ‘The Finger’
Is This A Jedi Mind Trick Or Acupressure?
I don’t know about you, but I’ve had it with these Texas Allergies. Have you ever wanted to know the pressure points to relieve allergy symptoms? Let’s get pokin’.
7 Points Total:
3 points with each finger:
Bladder 2 (BL2): middle finger (hehehe) goes on the edge of each eyebrow.
Stomach 2 (ST2): under the eye, edge of orbital above the cheek
Large Intestine 20 (LI20): just to the sides of the nostrils
Got it. Now you need to know HOW to poke.
Large Intestine 20: the points outside the nostrils, should be pressed diagonally upward, as if you are aiming for your eye on the opposite side.
Stomach 2: the points below the eye, should be pressed downward towards the mouth.
Bladder 2: the ones on the eyebrow, should be pressed upward toward the top of the head.
Those of you that are good at math realize that that is only 6 points. The 7th is mentioned above on the inside of the left ankle bone, Spleen 5 (SP5). This point is important for dampness and helps to clear it, ex. stuffy nose, phlegm and watery eyes. I just cross my left ankle up onto my leg and finger it with my thumb.
See? Don’t you feel better? Enjoy breathing through both nostrils this Memorial Day Weekend!
Or just come on it and I’ll give you a treatment – you don’t have to suffer.
